Immediate Source of Acquisition

The images were gathered by Walter Albert Beattie who served as District Claim Agent for Massachusetts and Rhode Island of the New Haven Railroad Law Department. His office was in South Station in Boston, Massachusetts, where he retrieved the images. The items were donated by his son, Paul J. Beattie, in January 2021.
