Scope and Contents
GIs ACT is RITA or Registers Inside the Army’s Newsletter. The Newsletter contains articles and testimony from largely military personnel who served in the Vietnam War and who strongly oppose the American motives and practices within the war. These publications emphasized ways of resisting immoral action by the American military and government through resistance: whether is be within the military, through desertion or going AWOL. Issues included: (Vol.1, No. 2), (Vol.1, No. 3), (Vol.1, No. 4), (Vol. 2, No. 1), (Vol. 2, No. 2 [1970]), as well as Mail only Version 10. These issues do not appear in chronological order.
