This publication, created by the African National Congress Women’s Section, titled “Voice of Women” was originally published as a special issue on International Women’s Year in 1975, with a particular focus on the World Conference of the International Women's Year. The publication discusses various issues related to women’s rights in Africa, including life under apartheid for women and their families, women’s emancipation, international disarmament, and the portrayal of women in media. Aside from articles on said issues, side panels are placed throughout that describe real stories of the treatment of African people living under apartheid.
