A.C.I.F. Report, bulk: 1985 - 1987
Scope and Contents
Contained in this file are two issues published by the American Immigration Control Foundation, a group with a stated goal of “educating the American people about the immigration problem.” The newsletters cover topics such as the employment of immigrants, immigration levels by nationality, methods of illegal immigration, and the habits and cultural behavior of immigrants. It also dedicates space to exploring and documenting government policy on immigration. The newsletters have a strong anti-immigrant stance, with a particular focus on Hispanic immigrants, and depicting them in a negative light. The AICF was listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Issues included in this file are Volume 4, Number 5 (December 1985), titled “Border Watch,” and the July-August 1987 issue titled “A.I.C.F Report”.
