Baltic-American Constituents , Undated, 1992
Scope and Content Note
As a founding member of Irish Americans for Clinton-Gore, and an active participant in the 1992 and 1996 Clinton campaigns, Morrison received a fair amount of press recognition. His high profile led him to be contacted by leaders of the Baltic community in Connecticut in 1992. They proposed that, were Governor Clinton to make a strong statement calling on Russian President Boris Yeltsin to withdraw all troops from the Baltic states, it would gain him considerable favor amongst Baltic-Americans and help him when the polls opened in November.
