History

The Committee of Three is a part of the University of Connecticut Senate. The committee participates in grievance and dismissal procedures between the faculty and the University of Connecticut. The committee is also the highest level of appeal. Before a grievance can be brought to the committee it must have gone through various review procedures. The committee members are chosen from the University of Connecticut Senate and serve on the committee until the end of their senate terms. The members are chosen after each spring election, and when a vacancy emerges. For more information please visit the Committee's website http://senate.uconn.edu/cmteof3.htm.
