Keeney Newspaper Collection
Scope and Contents Note
The collection contains an assortment of newspapers from a variety of locations, spanning the years 1873 to 1921. While some of the titles in the collection contain only single issues, there are a few titles that contain numerous issues, including The Saturday Evening Post, the New England Homestead, the Connecticut Courant, and the Hartford Times. The newspapers in the collection also range from national publications, such as The Saturday Evening Post and the Ladies Home Companion, to regional farming journals, such as the New York Fireside Companion, the South Manchester News, and the The Metronome . There are also newspapers from various locations throughout New York state and New York City, Hartford, Connecticut, and Philadelphia.
The collection is open and available for research.
