Scope and Content
The collection contains watercolor illustrations from two books by Ted Lewin [The Ghost of Grannoch Moor,William MacKellar, 1973 and The Witch of Glen Gowrie,William MacKellar, 1978] and one by Betsy Lewin [Araminta's Paintbox,Karen Ackerman, 1990]. Proofs for the last title are also included.

Biography
Ted Lewin was born 6 May 1935, in Buffalo, NY, the son of Sidney (a retail jeweler) and Bernece (Klehn) Lewin. He attended Pratt Institute of Art (B.F.A., 1956). Lewin has been received the following awards:

Lewin served in the U.S. Army (1958) before becoming a professional wrestler (1952-1965) and then an artist and freelance illustrator (1956—). Lewin has also conducted one-man shows in the Laboratory of Ornithology, Cornell University (1978) and Central Park Zoo Gallery, as well as a group show at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
Betsy Reilly Lewin was born 12 May 1937, in Clearfield, PA, the daughter of John K. (in insurance sales) and Winifred Dowler Reilly (a teacher). She attended Pratt Institute of Art (B.F.A., 1959). As a freelance writer and illustrator, Betsy Lewin has received the following awards:
