History

The Master of Public Affairs program at the University of Connecticut is a graduate program in the Department of Public Policy. The program focuses on providing students with a dynamic and integrated approach to the study of public policy and management. The program uses practical experience and internships, combined with theory, analysis, and case studies in the classroom, to prepare students for the responsibility of being public managers and policy makers. The program also has an interdisciplinary focus, incorporating economics, political sciences, public health, law, education, social work, and business administration into its curriculum.
