Biography/History
Frank Gagliardi was an Associate Director of Library Services at the Central Connecticut State University's Burritt Library for over 45 years before retiring in 2009. Among his many accomplishments at the Burritt Library, Gagliardi helped to create the exhibit Since Stonewall: Forty Years Of Gay And Lesbian Civil Rights, which used materials from Burritt Library’s extensive collection of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender books, newsletters, periodicals, ephemera and archives. In addition to his work with the library, Gagliardi has also compiled a collection of children's pop-up books, many of which he has donated to Archives & Special Collections at the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center.
