Scope and Content Note
Series I consists of drawings of railroad bridges in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Series II consists of maps of railroad property in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island.
Series III consists of annual reports of railroads that became part of the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad, including the Boston & Providence Railroad, Hartford, Providence & Fishkill Railroad, New England Railroad, New York & New England Railroad, New York & New Haven Railroad, New York, Providence & Boston Railroad, Newport & Wickford Railroad & Steamboat Company, and the Providence & Springfield Railroad.
Series IV consists of publications including issues of The New England Railroad Club and others associated with New England railroads.
Series V consists of photographic prints of scenes and motive power (particularly steam engines) and cars almost exclusively of the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad and its predecessor railroads, in locations in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York.

Biography/History
Edward J. Ozog is a retired official of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York whose responsibilities were mainly in the areas of monetary policy implementation and trading in the securities markets. During his 33 year career with the Fed he had various titles including Chief, Discount Division; Assistant Vice President, Dealer Surveillance Function and Manager, Securities Department. He was born in 1939, raised in Rhode Island and lived in New York City, New Jersey and North Carolina. He has a BA degree from the University of Rhode Island and a MBA degree from New York University.
Mr. Ozog has been interested in railroads from an early age but his only railroad employment was a few months with the Rock Island in Chicago. He began collecting railroad photographs and memorabilia in the 1950s and favored steam locomotive photographs and data. In recent years he has created several web sites illustrating and documenting railroad history, especially the railroads of Rhode Island.
